Solutionreach recently hosted Success Week—a series of four webinars aimed at helping Solutionreach customers improve their practices by increasing appointments, attracting more patients, and reducing no-shows.
The webinars are presented by experts from the team at the forefront of researching and developing these best practices and who are experienced in training new and existing Solutionreach customers. The experts shared insights and tips that can be easily implemented to help grow your practice. We don’t want you to miss out on any of this information, so we recapped the highlights below. Success Week’s final webinar was all about filling open appointments. Tyson Hill and Matt Kohler, long-time members of Solutionreach’s customer success team, had some great insights about why your practice should strive to fill every open appointment and suggested some processes that can help you do so efficiently. - Filling every available appointment slot is a great way to increase your bottom line. Leaving slots open can cost your practice hundreds of dollars, and since most patients would like to be seen earlier than their scheduled appointments, it’s usually not too difficult to fill the openings and bring in more revenue.
- Customize your recall settings so messages are sent at a cadence that makes sense for your specialty. If patients only come in for a routine exam once a year, don’t send a recall message a few months after their last appointment. Wait until it’s closer to the time they need to be seen again.
- An ASAP Waitlist is a great way to fill openings left by last minute cancellations. In your PRM software, create a list of patients who would like to be notified if an earlier appointment opens up. When a patient calls to cancel or reschedule an appointment, notify the patients on the ASAP Waitlist of the new availability. The appointment will be filled in no time at all.
- With a two-way texting solution your practice can easily communicate with small groups of patients or individuals. You can text patients on the waitlist, and if more than one patient responds to a last-minute opening, you can redirect them to another opening in your schedule.
