At the beginning of the year, I posted some of the best healthcare conferences of 2018. Since half of the year is almost over (how is that possible??), I thought it would be a good time to update the list for the latter part of the year. It's not too late to find great conferences that will help you stay ahead of the industry changes in 2018. Practices that do not keep up cannot expect to attract and retain patients as well as their competition.
We’ve made it easy for you to see which conferences may best fit your practice.

Conferences on a budget
If you’re feeling like your budget is a little tight this year, don't worry. There are still options that can work for you.
- Start by checking out state or regional conferences. Simply Google “2018 Dental conferences in New
York” or “California Medical Conferences 2018” and you will come up with a good list of conferencescloser to home.
- You can also look for regional chapters of each of these larger organizations listed above. Your local chapter will often host events or small conferences in your area.
- You can also attend a “topics-driven” event like the MGMA Practice Operations conference in Phoenix AZ. These are smaller conferences put on by the larger organizations. They tend to be a bit more affordable.
- Finally, many conferences offer online versions for a much more affordable price. Do a little digging around and you may be able to “attend” without ever leaving home.
