#1 - Returning patient recognition

When your patients go online to request an appointment, they will be recognized in the system as an existing patient. When recognized, they will not need to fill out all the information over and over again with every appointment they request. This allows your patients to save time and improves their experience when booking an appointment. 

The system will pop-up a new screen at the beginning of the SR Schedule process asking if your patient is new or returning. 

  • Returning patients will identify themselves by submitting their first name, last name and date of birth.
  • Then, SR Schedule will find the patient’s information in the SR database and pre-populate the correct forms.

#2 - Easier Insurance Collection

Now, we know time is valuable to both you and your patients. This is why we updated the scheduling process to include new questions that collect important insurance information.

When a patient requests an appointment online, they will have two options.

  • If they are the primary policy holder, they will be asked for the last 4 digits of their social security number.

  • If they are not the primary policy holder, they will be asked to provide the name, date of birth, and last 4 social security digits of the primary policy holder.

This update enables you to collect and check a patient’s insurance information without needing to make a burdensome phone call.
