After four weeks of beta testing, the SR Conversations Android mobile app has been released to general availability. Not only did our beta users find the app to be working exceptionally well, they also found that it is now an indispensable part of their practice and workflow.
The SR Conversations mobile app includes features from the desktop version you use every day. Send private conversational text messages to patients, collect and save HIPAA consent, gather images of insurance cards, check patient information, and use template messages for faster communication. Because the SR Conversations mobile app syncs instantly with your SR Conversations desktop application, users found they can seamlessly transition between the two platforms.
Bill Boyce, a beta participant and an Office Manager at the Caring Tree Children’s Dentistry in California, explained that on top of having to respond quickly to urgent care messages, his office has also had to navigate the world of power outages due to their high fire-risk location. Because of the app, he is able to convey timely and important information through text that otherwise would not have been possible.

Another elective care customer explained that the app has enabled his staff to spark conversations with patients and decrease the number of cancellations through their use of SR Conversations. Their patients must be pre-screened for COVID prior to receiving their treatments. The app helps staff quickly and easily engage in COVID pre-screening conversations, answer questions and recommend COVID pre-screening sites.
