Notification Center: UX Improvements and ‘Mark all Read’ option

Why?

  • Some improvements needed to be made to the Notification Center to enhance the usability of it. Being able to mark all notifications as read so that I am not inundated with notifications that are irrelevant.

What you need to know:

  • Add an ellipsis menu in the All Notifications bar with the option to Mark All Notifications as Read:
    • There is a Modal to confirm the user wants to mark them all as read and the action cannot be undone.
    • This will affect notifications for all users and cannot be undone.
  • Improved the saving experience in Settings and Filters.
  • Removed the Snooze option since it is no longer needed.

Insurance: Update the Insurance request message to be more generic

Why?

  • To provide a more clear request to the patient, we have updated the insurance request message to have a generic message so that it works for when there is no insurance on file or when the practice is needing updated insurance information.

What you need to know:

  • The Spanish and English versions of the text and emails have been updated.
  • Available to Insurance Pro users only.

Insurance: Require NPI for Default Provider

Why?

  • National Provider Identifier (NPI) is required for insurance verification and eligibility. To reduce tracking that information down in the future, we are requiring it on the default provider for all accounts since it can be beneficial for other future features as well.

What you need to know:

  • An NPI is a unique identification number for covered healthcare providers, so all providers will have one.
  • A link for NPI lookup is provided below the NPI field.
  • The default provider will need to include an NPI if edited.
  • NPI is required for Insurance Pro to run verification checks.

SR Pay: Use the same URL for multiple devices and batch email support

Why?

  • We want to prevent confusion for a patient if they receive more than one URL for the same request on multiple devices. This will make the SR Pay request experience more seamless.

What you need to know:

  • Use the same URL for each request to a patient that has more than one device associated with them.
  • Update the Send Modal:
    • Option to select which medium is the priority when sending:
      • Text priority – Text first, but if they don’t have a valid device then send an email.
      • Email priority – Email first, but if they don’t have a valid device then send a text.
      • Text and Email
  • Update the CSV upload to accept and match patients with a valid email or cell phone on file (currently only does text).
  • Payment History should only show one request even if it’s sent to multiple devices.
  • All devices will receive the verification pin.

OTHER  HIGHLIGHTS

BUGS

  • Conversation Filters not working at full scroll
    • Incorrect notifications were being loaded and displayed when a user reached the bottom of the notification center.

    • Some clients were getting an error when creating a new criteria group. This has been resolved.

    • The brand registration form now allows entry of “CA” or “Canada” as a country code.
