Intake
Collect insurance cards, IDs, and photos in Intake:
- Intake image uploads are now available for Intake users to add to their packets. Patients can upload insurance cards, patient IDs, and patient photos. The images are stored in the patient panel and on the packet PDF.
Let patients save their intake and finish later:
- Patients don’t always have everything they need to complete an intake form in one sitting. Patients can now save their intake as a draft and pick up where they left off.
AI Receptionist
Let Stella know when your practice is closed:
Stella, our AI Receptionist, needs to know when your office is closed so she doesn’t offer patients times you can’t see them.
- Custom Response schedules now have a name and three independent options: notify Stella, send an auto-response, and repeat annually.
- When you notify Stella of a closure, if a patient asks for a time during the closure, she’ll tell them the office is closed and give the schedule’s name as the reason.
- If a patient texts in during a closure, you can also have an auto-response sent to the patient.
- You can edit these settings next to each schedule entry.
- AI Receptionist settings also include a new Holiday Closures toggle. It lists qualifying closures with their dates and annual recurrence or shows a notice if none are enabled for Stella.
- An info tooltip explains the setting, and you can include Holiday Closures when you apply settings to other AI Receptionists and locations.
Groups
Look back further at past appointments in Criteria Groups:
- Building an appointment group from past appointments used to limit you to a shorter look-back window. Appointment groups can now look back up to 90 days for kept or completed appointments, including archived appointments.
Insurance
Know right away when an insurance portal disconnects:
- A disconnected payer portal is easy to miss until it disrupts your work. Red alert badges now flag disconnected portals in Insurance navigation, Settings, Connections, and relevant dashboard snapshot pills. Select a badge to open Settings, where the affected portals appear first. Alerts update in real time and clear once you reconnect. Only users with permission to manage insurance connections see them.
Intake
Avoid sharing outdated Intake links:
- When you move a posted QR code or website link to a different packet, older packets could still show those links. On older packets, Copy URL and Download QR Code are now disabled, and a tooltip names the packet that now owns the links. The current packet keeps both actions.
Review and manage Intake images without leaving the preview:
- Checking a patient’s uploaded images used to take extra steps. Image previews in the patient panel now include download, delete, rotate, and zoom controls. Images in Sent & Received now open in the larger preview too. Rotation is saved. Zoom is view-only.
SR Schedule
Insurance entries now carry through the online scheduling form:
- Patients had to enter insurance on the “Let’s get started” page and the later form separately. The insurance field on the first page now works like the later form: it supports your practice’s picklists, dental payer search, and free-text entry. What patients select or type is saved and prefilled on the later form, where they can still edit it.
SR Schedule Pro
See why an appointment request failed to post*:
- When an appointment request couldn’t be written to your Denticon system, the notification didn’t say why. Notifications now show a plain-language reason for the failure, whether automated messaging is on or off.*Failure reason is only available for the Denticon integration at this time
Rejecting an appointment request now sends a Call to Schedule email:
- Rejecting an appointment request now sends patients a Call to Schedule email, so that patients can call and discuss with the practice if they’d like to schedule.
