As a part of the Great Lakes Family Dental Group, Dr. Gary Hubbard and Dr. Curtis Neal serve the Lansing, Michigan area. For more than 30 years, Hubbard and Neal Great Lakes Family Dental has provided both family and cosmetic dental services. Dr. Hubbard is one of only 12 dentists in Michigan who is an Accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Hubbard and Neal wanted a solution to make communication with their patients easier, so they implemented Soultionreach, a cloud-based patient relationship management software.
As the office manager for Hubbard and Neal Great Lakes Family Dental, Julie Bond’s main responsibility is to make sure everything in the office runs smoothly.

Like most dental practices, no-shows were a huge problem for Hubbard and Neal. Confirming each appointment took a lot of time, because the staff had to reach out to each patient individually. “Each confirmation call takes approximately three to five minutes depending on if you reach the patient right away,” Julie says of the old confirmation process. “Depending on the schedule and how many patients you have, that one task can take up a lot of time.”
Hubbard and Neal averages about 21 appointments each day, so implementing an automated system to remind patients of these appointments saves the staff about seven hours every week.
