SR Intake: A Whirlwind of Enhancements...Including Automation

Posted on Oct 13, 2020 by Hilary Melander

Like many organizations, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to rapidly evolve our products. In the process, we are finding that we are reinventing ourselves and listening closely to our customers as we do it. Product development around SR Intake has taken off like a whirlwind. As a result, we are proud to announce SR Intake automation is here, product functionality is deeper, and the need for SR Intake has never been stronger.

Patients are now able to receive email and text appointment reminders and complete their digital intake forms by clicking the SR Intake URL included in Pre-Visit Instructions. For example, offices may choose to attach a standard intake packet to the weekly and daily reminder and a COVID-19 pre-screening questionnaire to the hourly or immediate reminder. Customer feedback suggests this single feature enhancement may save office staff up to 4 hours per day by eliminating routine tasks done on a daily and even hourly basis. Currently, patient date of birth, and address are required for authentication purposes. We are developing a solution that will no longer require patient authentication prior to completing an intake form. Intake_PVI_ReminderEmail

Product functionality is deeper and more user-friendly. Get started quickly by using one of several default form and questionnaire templates.

SRIntakeTemplateEasily customize or build your own using Q&A drag and drop functionality within Questionnaires.
IntakeDragDropRequire patients complete all questions with a click of a button, or select individual questions to be required.

New question types that allow you to collect signatures or create section titles and statements.

Customize your intake forms by controlling what demographics to include.

SRIntake_DemographicsThese are just a few examples of how SR Intake functionality has gone deeper so you can gather all the relevant information you need from your patient, give them more attention when they are in the office, and free up time to work on other important tasks like following COVID-19 sanitation guidelines. Currently, patient date of birth and address are required for authentication purposes. We are developing a solution that will make it easier to support new patients whose patient information has not yet been collected.

Innovation around SR Intake is certainly not done nor is it slowing down. We are now in the process of beta testing an SR Intake integration for both Open Dental and Dentrix patient management systems. More enhancements around reporting and customer ordering of packets are also in the mix. We are committed to continue to go deeper and continue to bring value to you and your practice.

We can all agree that every healthcare provider needs a digital intake tool, whether they are offering in-office, telehealth, or a mix of both services. Let SR Intake create a hygienic contactless patient experience, expand the walls of your waiting room, and enable your office to embrace more efficient workflow.
