Like many organizations, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to rapidly evolve our products. In the process, we are finding that we are reinventing ourselves and listening closely to our customers as we do it. Product development around SR Intake has taken off like a whirlwind. As a result, we are proud to announce SR Intake automation is here, product functionality is deeper, and the need for SR Intake has never been stronger.
Patients are now able to receive email and text appointment reminders and complete their digital intake forms by clicking the SR Intake URL included in Pre-Visit Instructions. For example, offices may choose to attach a standard intake packet to the weekly and daily reminder and a COVID-19 pre-screening questionnaire to the hourly or immediate reminder. Customer feedback suggests this single feature enhancement may save office staff up to 4 hours per day by eliminating routine tasks done on a daily and even hourly basis. Currently, patient date of birth, and address are required for authentication purposes. We are developing a solution that will no longer require patient authentication prior to completing an intake form.

Innovation around SR Intake is certainly not done nor is it slowing down. We are now in the process of beta testing an SR Intake integration for both Open Dental and Dentrix patient management systems.
